The College of Education is seeking to build a pool of qualified candidates for potential part-time Adjunct Faculty roles in the field of Special Education.

Qualified individuals may be responsible for teaching up to seven (7) semester credit hours in the designated area at an on-campus location, depending on student enrollment. Responsibilities also include holding office hours and providing necessary support to students.

This role necessitates in-person engagement through a consistent attendance schedule on campus.


Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Education or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of three years of teaching experience in an EC-12 setting.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior teaching experience at the collegiate level.

Skills and Competencies:
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Professional interaction with the public.
  • Strong organizational and task prioritization abilities.
  • Capability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

Additional Information:

The responsibilities outlined may vary across different Adjunct Faculty positions and may not encompass all duties associated with the role.

These are temporary appointments, assigned on a semester basis as needed.
