Job Title: Senior Associate, Donor Relations and Operations

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Associate to join our Development and Donor Relations team at United Way of New York City. The successful candidate will play a critical role in tracking and engaging our donor base, as well as supporting critical tasks connected to donor events, communications, operations, and logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Donor Pipeline Management and Analysis: Support the Senior Director of Development and Donor Relations in research briefs and profiles on current donors and prospects, and maintain the accuracy of prospect lists to inform strategies and outreach.
  • Donor Relations and Solicitation: Coordinate logistics, planning, and execution for affinity group meetings, donor stewardship and cultivation events, site visits, and other engagements, and engage with donors at events, via thank you calls and emails, and solicitation calls.
  • Project Management and Administrative Support: Serve as the project manager and driver on various tasks and projects related to donor relations, engagement, and solicitation, and provide administrative support as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, with a preference for background in Development, fundraising, donor engagement, and/or event planning.
  • Demonstrated ability with project management tasks and ability to change gears as needed.
  • A passion for UWNYC's mission, vision, and accomplishments.
  • Astute listener with an ability to understand, reflect, and incorporate clients' and peers' needs and interests.

Salary Range: $53,321-$66,105
