Job Title: Radiology Technologist Assistant

Job Summary:

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Radiology Technologist Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our Radiology department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our imaging services.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist radiologic technologists with patient care and imaging procedures
  • Provide safe and compassionate care to patients of all ages
  • Follow proper patient identification processes and hospital policies
  • Assist with scheduling imaging exams and answering phone calls
  • Monitor and replenish department stock and linen supplies
  • Prepare and clean equipment and rooms before and after patient use
  • Assist with patient transport between departments and patient care units
  • Maintain professional behavior and communication within the department and hospital
  • Utilize EPIC, phone, and paging systems to assist at the front desk
  • Facilitate expediting patient visits without compromising patient care

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Some college or associate degree preferred
  • Ability to work with patients required
