Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join our team in Houston, Texas. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading technical analyses and calculations, developing recommendations, and preparing reports for coastal development projects.

Responsibilities
  • Attend project meetings and prepare proposals for engineering projects.
  • Develop and oversee technical studies and engineering design related to coastal and waterfront development projects.
  • Work with other specialists, including subconsultants and internal team members, on geotechnical, remediation, and restoration services.
  • Assist with the development and review of design documents and supporting deliverables.
  • Perform task management, including team assignments and coordination, contractor management, and budgeting.
  • Develop and execute field investigation and laboratory testing plans at upland and in-water project sites.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • PE licensure in Texas is preferred.
  • Experience managing projects/tasks and interfacing with clients.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A willingness to work on a variety of tasks simultaneously and adhere to deadlines.
