Responsibilities of Aquatic Safety Staff:
  • Ensure safety in the pool area and respond to emergencies as required.
  • Perform essential maintenance tasks to uphold pool standards.
Responsibilities of Instruction Staff:
  • Deliver swim lesson instruction effectively in the pool.
  • Conduct basic maintenance duties as directed to maintain pool conditions.
  • Assess students participating in classes and submit timely evaluations and reports.
  • Maintain a positive, patient, and respectful demeanor in all interactions.
Qualifications for Aquatic Safety Staff:
  • Current Lifeguard Certification, preferably through the Red Cross.
  • Minimum age of 16 years.
Qualifications for Instruction Staff:
  • American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor (WSI) Certification preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to demonstrate skills in swim lesson instruction.
  • Previous experience in aquatic environments is advantageous.
  • Minimum age of 16 years.
