The position involves establishing rapport with teachers and young participants along with knowledge of study research procedures and protocols, so experience interacting with children and attention to detail are necessary. Extensive training will be provided.

Responsibilities:

* Conduct on-site sessions at partner elementary schools
* Collect data using project guidelines
* Establish rapport with teachers and young participants
* Ensure secure transfer of collected data

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent
* Excellent interpersonal communication skills
* Experience using Microsoft office programs
* Comfort using technology and troubleshooting in programs on tablets and/or laptops
* Strong organization skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with a diverse population
* Reliable transportation (mileage reimbursed)

Preferred Qualifications:

* Completed coursework at an institute of higher education
* At least one year of experience performing direct work with children in either an educational setting or an out-of-school setting such as a summer camp or an after-school program

Physical Demands:

This is primarily a sedentary job involving use of desktop computers, laptops, and tablets during sessions. The job does occasionally require walking some distance to attend sessions, meetings, and programs, and may require driving from one site to another within the day. This job will require walking short distances when conducting data collection with children
