About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Financial Relationship Specialist to join our team at Addition Financial. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our members, providing exceptional service, and promoting our financial products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Member Engagement: Cultivate strong relationships with members to understand their financial needs and provide personalized solutions.
  • Member Experience: Ensure an exceptional member experience by delivering personalized and attentive service, addressing member inquiries and concerns promptly, and fostering a positive relationship.
  • Membership Growth: Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to expand our membership base, develop and implement strategies to attract new members, and drive deposit growth through effective relationship building.
  • Operational Efficiency: Exercise due diligence to prevent fraud and minimize credit union losses, implement proactive measures to identify and address potential risks, and ensure operational efficiency and financial stability.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Demonstrate flexibility by efficiently balancing responsibilities between teller line and platform services based on member demand.
  • Member Outreach: Proactively reach out to members to enhance relationships and address their financial needs.
  • Branch Support: Collaborate with branch operations to assist with daily tasks, including branch opening and closing procedures, and resolving teller outages.
  • Transaction Processing: Handle personal and business accounts transactions, such as deposits, transfers, withdrawals, credit card cash advance, loan payments, and more.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve shared goals and enhance overall member experience.
  • Self-Development: Build and maintain knowledge of Addition Financial products and services, and actively engage to stay informed about industry trends and evolving financial products.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: Minimum of 1+ years of experience in a sales or member service role and cash handling experience
  • Skills: Service-oriented, people-first mindset, commitment to exceeding expectations, excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills, outgoing personality, proficiency in accurately processing transactions and requests, and ability to speak and write clearly and effectively.
