As part of our mission, we seek a skilled Anesthesia Technician to support our anesthesia providers in delivering safe and effective anesthesia care. This role is crucial in ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are prepared and maintained for surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities

The Anesthesia Technician will:

  • Assist licensed anesthesia providers in the preparation and application of anesthesia equipment and supplies.
  • Maintain and operate various monitoring devices and anesthesia delivery systems throughout the surgical process.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and servicing of anesthesia equipment, including cleaning, sterilizing, and calibrating devices.
  • Stock and organize anesthesia supplies in designated areas to ensure readiness for procedures.
  • Perform point-of-contact clinical laboratory services as required, maintaining accurate records in compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications

Education and Experience:

Applicants should possess:

  • A degree from an accredited Anesthesia Technology program, or
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a healthcare role, such as an Anesthesia Technician, LPN, or EMT.

Licensure and Certification:

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Current certification as an Anesthesia Technician through the American Society of Anesthesia Technicians and Technologists (ASATT).
  • American Heart Association BLS certification for healthcare providers.

For those classified as Anesthesia Tech-Cert, certification through ASATT is mandatory.
