Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Windows System Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our IT infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our Windows-based systems and infrastructure.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our Windows environments, as well as providing excellent support to our users.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and implement Windows-based systems and infrastructure, including RHEL 7/8 CoreOS, Windows Operating Systems, and OpenShift.
  2. Manage Active Directory, KDC, and Domain Services (AD, DNS), FTP, Data Protection (Netbackup), and Clustering (Veritas).
  3. Administer virtualization environments based on VMware and OpenShift.
  4. Manage x86 server hardware, including Dell, HP, Lenovo, Solarflare, SSD, and FPGA.
  5. Develop simple automation scripts using PowerShell or other scripting languages like VBS, Python, Bash, etc.
  6. Troubleshoot network issues using various protocols and tools.
  7. Familiarize yourself with Sysinternals and other deep system/process troubleshooting tools.
  8. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, including Microsemi, Ansible, VMware, Windows RDS, Centrify, IBM BigFix, Ansible, PTP/NTP, Splunk, ePo, SCCM, Twistlock, Crowdstrike, SCOM, Dell, ITC, Lenovo, HP/Dell/Lenovo servers, and EMC/NetApp storage.
