Position Summary: The HR Generalist will be responsible for overseeing the complete Human Resources function within the organization. This role is essential in fostering a supportive and compliant workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the Human Resources function.
- Collaborate with department leaders to assist in the recruitment process.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote optimal employee performance while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Ensure adherence to all legal requirements.
- Coordinate internal benefits programs and work with external partners to keep employees informed and engaged.
- Serve as the primary contact during open enrollment and address employee inquiries.
- Review payroll documentation, including PTO, sick leave, and timecard discrepancies.
- Facilitate the onboarding process and work with managers to ensure a seamless transition for new hires.
- Manage Workers' Compensation, FMLA, and Short-Term Disability programs.
- Promote a safety-first culture by keeping employees informed of the latest safety requirements.
- Present data effectively to all levels of staff, including peers and management.
- Provide timely coaching, counseling, and constructive feedback to employees.
