Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chicken Kitchen Manager to join our team at Lowes Foods. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our chicken kitchen, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our products meet the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and train a team of chicken kitchen staff to provide excellent customer service and ensure that all guests receive a positive experience.
  • Manage the daily operations of the chicken kitchen, including inventory management, ordering, and receiving.
  • Ensure that all products meet the highest standards of quality and are presented in a visually appealing manner.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and control labor costs, inventory levels, and other operational metrics to ensure that the chicken kitchen is running efficiently.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of company initiatives and promotions.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to staff to ensure that they are meeting performance standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in a food service or retail environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds consistently and 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to read and understand information and direction.
  • Knowledge of deli and chicken kitchen operations, including inventory management and food safety procedures.
  • Ability to supervise people, including training and development.
  • Ability to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
  • Effective communication, guest service, and selling skills.
  • Ability to work well with computers and other technology.
