Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Inova Health System. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for administering patient care practices, completing ancillary tasks, and maintaining equipment and exam rooms in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Administer sound patient care practices, according to department and hospital policies/procedures, to ensure patient safety.
  • Ancillary Tasks: Complete tasks to ensure efficient and consistent departmental operations.
  • Radiation Protection: Demonstrate radiation protection/safety for patients, staff, and self, as outlined in department protocols and regulatory guidelines.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain equipment, exam rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition.
  • Clinical Services: Provide clinical services according to radiology practice standards and act as a resource to radiography students and other technologists.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited school of radiography.
  • Certification: Must be certified by ARRT as a Radiologic Technologist and obtain CT Certification within one year of acceptance.
  • Experience: Prior experience preferred as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist and/or Computed Tomography Technologist in a hospital/healthcare environment.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support Certification.
