Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist PRN to join our team at Inova. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for administering high-quality patient care, ensuring efficient departmental operations, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Provide sound patient care practices, adhering to department and hospital policies and procedures, to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
  • Departmental Operations: Complete ancillary tasks to ensure efficient and consistent departmental operations, including tracking patients and identifying errors for immediate correction.
  • Radiation Protection: Demonstrate radiation protection and safety practices for patients, staff, and self, as outlined in department protocols and regulatory guidelines.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain equipment, exam rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition to ensure patient and employee safety.
  • Clinical Services: Provide clinical services according to radiology practice standards and act as a resource to radiography students and other technologists.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited school of radiography.
  • Certification: Must be certified by ARRT as a Radiologic Technologist and obtain CT Certification within one year of acceptance.
  • Experience: Prior experience as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist and/or Computed Tomography Technologist in a hospital/healthcare environment is preferred.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support Certification is required.
