Job Summary

Inova Health System is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team in Alexandria, Virginia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer patient care practices in accordance with department and hospital policies/procedures to ensure patient safety.
  • Complete ancillary tasks to ensure efficient and consistent departmental operations.
  • Implement radiation protection/safety protocols for patients, staff, and self to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Maintain equipment, exam rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition.
  • Provide clinical services according to radiology practice standards and serve as a resource to radiography students and other technologists.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiography.
  • Certified by ARRT as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Obtain CT Certification within one year of acceptance.
  • Prior experience as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist and/or Computed Tomography Technologist in a hospital/healthcare environment.
  • Basic Life Support Certification.
