Role Responsibilities:
The Program Coordinator will engage with both internal and external partners, collaborating with PsyD affiliates to ensure that the accredited programs meet the necessary post-graduate licensure standards. This role involves overseeing accreditation processes, managing research and clinical training data, and streamlining departmental operations in close partnership with the Program Director and Director of Clinical Training.
Key Duties Include:
- Clinical Training Management:
- Organizing and facilitating clinical training sessions for students, which includes preparing training materials, scheduling trainers, and assessing training effectiveness.
- Performing data entry tasks and offering technical support to faculty, students, and associated sites to enhance the use of online platforms.
- Monitoring student compliance with mandatory benchmarks set by the state for healthcare professionals.
- Administering Tevera data management and providing technical assistance.
- Academic Research Coordination:
- Overseeing dissertation processes and preliminary defenses.
- Supporting the Director of Research in creating the annual SFE examination.
- Managing the operational effectiveness of assessment library tracking systems.
- Maintaining a secure database of assessments and protocols to protect data confidentiality.
- Ensuring the availability of online assessments and digital testing resources.
- Collaborating with faculty, students, and university staff to facilitate the department's daily operations through active engagement in various systems and projects.
- Exhibiting effective communication with colleagues, students, and the public, fostering a collaborative and respectful environment.
- Serving as a Christian role model to students through actions and lifestyle.
- Demonstrating respect and appreciation for diverse backgrounds and working effectively with a variety of individuals.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.
A Typical Day:
The Program Coordinator will engage in a range of responsibilities, working closely with the Program Director, Director of Research, and Director of Clinical Training to uphold the academic integrity and quality of the Degree Program. Daily tasks will include managing confidential and complex duties with minimal supervision, providing academic support to faculty and students.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in data management and reporting.
- Experience in communicating sensitive information effectively.
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Strong organizational, verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Able to multitask and handle frequent interruptions.
- High level of discretion and sound judgment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other relevant technologies.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and solve problems efficiently.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- A personal commitment to Christian values and active participation in a church community.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A degree or relevant certification.
- 5+ years of administrative or data management experience, preferably in higher education.
Work Environment:
- Full-time position (40 hours per week).
- Normal office environment.
- Reports to the Director of the Doctor of Clinical Psychology Program.
