About the Role:
">Speech Language Proctor plays a vital role in supporting students with speech and language impairments. Reporting directly to the Exceptional Student Services Director, you will work closely with the Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services. Your primary responsibility is to facilitate the delivery of speech and language therapy to students in a designated classroom setting. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent interpersonal abilities, and the capacity to follow directions from the SLP. To succeed, you must have an associate's degree or higher, or 60 semester hours of coursework documented on an official transcript from an accredited institution. Alternatively, you can obtain a passing score from the Arizona Paraprofessional Assessments. You are also required to possess an AZ DPS IVP Fingerprint card.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Virtual SLP in preparing materials needed for weekly lessons.
  • Manage and maintain a safe and structured classroom environment.
  • Supervise students during recess, lunch, and dismissal.
  • Relay information to the Virtual SLP as necessary.
