Resident Instructor

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Resident Instructor to join our team at Community Residences. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and supportive environment for our clients with developmental disabilities.
Job SummaryThe Resident Instructor will be responsible for providing individualized support and instruction to our clients, helping them to develop essential life skills and achieve their goals. This is a dynamic and rewarding role that requires a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized plans of care to meet the unique needs of each client
- Provide instruction and support in areas such as daily living skills, personal care, and community integration
- Assist clients with medication administration and monitoring
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless delivery of services
- Document client progress and maintain accurate records
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- At least two years of experience in the field of human services
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
This is a part-time position, with a schedule of Friday 2:30pm-9:30pm, Saturday 7am-3pm, Sunday 7am-3pm, and Wednesday 9am-3pm. The total hours per week are 29.
