Job Title: Cybersecurity Manager for Cloud Platforms

We are seeking a seasoned cybersecurity professional to join our team as a Cybersecurity Manager for Cloud Platforms. In this role, you will be responsible for providing guidance and oversight on cybersecurity concepts, performing security risk assessments, and securing cloud infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in cybersecurity or information technology, with a strong understanding of strategic business objectives and the ability to drive results toward those objectives. Additionally, they will possess strong conceptual thinking and communication skills, with the ability to work well under minimal supervision.

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to raise the bar in Information Security. You will help consult on initiatives, programs, and projects to enhance cloud security, leveraging your expertise in architecture, software design, networking, and cloud infrastructure.

You will serve as a central point of contact for the Enterprise Platform line of business, coordinating and executing proactive Information Security consulting to the business and technology teams. This includes Infrastructure Security, Resiliency, Data Security, Network Architecture and Design, and User Access Management.

You will also secure Design Solutioning and Risk Management on enterprise critical platform standardizing core data and migrating customer accounts from legacy systems to the new core.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a central point of contact for the Enterprise Platform line of business
  • Coordinate and execute proactive Information Security consulting to the business and technology teams
  • Secure Design Solutioning and Risk Management on enterprise critical platform standardizing core data and migrating customer accounts from legacy systems to the new core
  • Serve as an expert in Capital One's Information Security capabilities, solutions, policies, procedures, and standards
  • Influence customers to leverage security capabilities and solutions to shift and integrate security to the left in the development processes
  • Escalate and manage cyber security risk
  • Provide ad hoc support on special Information Security hot topics for the business
  • Work with line of business leadership to anticipate their objectives and needs to better serve the line of business

Salary Information:

The estimated annual salary for this role is $213,400 - $243,500, depending on location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations.
