Lyra Technology Group is seeking an IT Strategy Consultant to provide strategic IT leadership and guidance to our clients. As the IT Strategy Consultant, you will align technology initiatives with business objectives to drive growth, efficiency, and innovation yielding additional revenue for the company and helping increase client retention.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage the business relationship with clients ensuring a level of client satisfaction and engagement.
  2. Grow existing client direct service recurring revenue by expanding value and service.
  3. Grow existing client direct service non-recurring revenue by expanding the services provided.
  4. Participate in strategic business discussions with clients, focused on setting clear direction and achieving long term success.
  5. Serve as an escalation point for account management problems, client issues, collections, etc.
  6. Participate in Informational Briefings and other client events, including content selection, scheduling, promotion, registration, presentation, and post-event follow-up.
  7. Contribute and adhere to the development of the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Client Success Department.
  8. Participate in annual client price increase process.
  9. Participate in review of clients' profitability and implementation of any necessary corrective actions.
  10. Contribute to continuous process improvement activities for the department, training, hardware, software, vendors, etc.
  11. Document work performed, including: a detailed description of the work performed, time worked, and any follow-up required.
  12. Maintaining up-to-date client documentation.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree or master's degree in the field of business, computers, network administration or Information Technology, or equivalent experience and/or training is preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience working with small and mid-size businesses in a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in performing technical account management and/or vCIO duties is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of computer networking and computer infrastructure technologies, and computer support needs for small and midsize businesses.
  • Sales level experience with remote monitoring and mgmt. software, ticketing, quoting systems.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, and Outlook) is required.
  • Sales level certifications for various hardware and software products are helpful.
