We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced 3R Field Service Technician to join our team at Shred-Tech. As a 3R Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing 3R machinery, shredding systems, and associated equipment at customer locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Service, maintain, and repair 3R machinery, shredding systems, and associated equipment at customer locations.
  • Develop existing clients and help solicit new clients in your assigned region or area.
  • Complete all necessary documentation supporting the service visit and submit a copy of the Service Report to the customer and your reporting office.
  • Report any and all timesheets and expense sheets to your manager in a timely manner.
  • Be responsible for all tools and equipment assigned to you, including but not limited to: Service Vehicle, Service Tools, Stock, Laptop Computer, Cell Phone, and Supporting Office Supplies.

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge with blueprints, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
  • Welding and rigging of heavy equipment.
  • Familiar with the use of measuring tools and safe operation of hand tools, including grinders, drills, mechanical saws, sanders, buffers, etc.
  • Capable of fitting and assembling mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
  • Capable of receiving job-specific training and training new employees.
  • Follow and adhere to Shred-Tech's quality systems procedures and work instructions.
  • Know, understand, and follow safe working and material handling practices.
