Job SummaryWe're seeking a highly skilled Project Architect to join our Aviation, Transit, and Commercial Buildings team in St. Louis and Dallas. As a Project Architect, you'll represent the Firm's interests through effective project leadership and actions that advance our mission and business interests.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and coordinate the technical development of projects from conceptual design through construction documents and construction phase.
- Coordinate with a multi-discipline team of architects and engineers to ensure projects are detailed and executed to maintain the design concept with technical astuteness and within the project budget.
- Develop presentation documents and participate in presentations to clients.
- Develop design concepts under the leadership of the Principal Designer.
- Participate in design phase activities by providing expertise in detail development.
- Develop construction drawings and specifications for all project phases.
- Ensure that designs meet applicable building code requirements.
- Assist with all corresponding bid and construction phase activities in the office and in the field.
- Bachelor or Masters Degree in Architecture from an accredited University.
- Architectural license required.
- LEED AP a plus.
- Detailed knowledge of architectural and engineering practice with emphasis on design, design development, preparation of construction documents, preparation of specifications, building materials, construction costs, and building codes.
- Proficient with AutoCAD & Revit.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
