Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Architect with extensive experience in healthcare architecture to join our team. As a key member of our design and construction team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality projects that meet our clients' needs and expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct quality control reviews of project documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Select, evaluate, and detail building systems to ensure they meet our clients' needs and comply with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Partner with the Project Manager to develop project plans, milestone schedules, and staffing needs.
  • Collaborate with the Construction Team to understand cost estimates, construction sequencing, and project constructability.
  • Support internal continuing education sessions and lead lessons learned initiatives to improve our design and construction processes.
  • Research building systems as needed to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices.
  • Collaborate with the Project Designer to bring the design vision and intent to life.
  • Lead the project team in documentation, modeling, quality control, and coordination with consultants.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in developing building facade details and/or coordinating interior building systems.
  • Apply zoning, building, life safety, accessibility, and energy codes as applicable.
  • Assist in the development of project manuals.
  • Resolve technical issues throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead or delegate tasks related to construction administration.
  • Thrive in a collaborative team environment and mentor junior staff members.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in healthcare architecture.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree from an NAAB-accredited program.
  • Professional licensure.
