Job Summary:

The Security Systems Site Superintendent is a critical role within IES Communications, responsible for overseeing the implementation and management of commercial security systems projects. Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate the installation, testing, and commissioning of security systems, ensuring compliance with company and customer requirements.
  • Lead a team of security systems technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Collaborate with customers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct site visits, inspecting work in progress, and identifying potential issues to prevent delays or cost overruns.
  • Ensure all project documentation, including reports, drawings, and certifications, is accurate, complete, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and partners to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, new technologies, and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve project delivery and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in security systems installation, maintenance, and project management.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality projects on time, within budget, and to customer satisfaction.
  • Strong technical knowledge of security systems, including access control, CCTV, and alarm systems.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred.
Working Conditions:

The Security Systems Site Superintendent will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, often on-site at customer locations. The role requires frequent travel, including overnight stays, and the ability to work in a variety of weather conditions.
