Job Title: MMA Manager

At UFC Gym, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced MMA Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring a positive customer experience, delivering exceptional member service, and driving revenue growth through private training and supplement sales.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, hire, train, and develop a strong team of coaches and future MMA Managers.
  • Manage the Ultimate Schedule to ensure all classes have our best coaches teaching.
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly meetings with coaches to review performance and operations, and provide direction, motivation, and guidance towards achieving personal and club goals.
  • Handle member service matters, including providing tours of the club, explaining services offered by the PT Department, and signing members up for training agreements and appointments.
  • Mediate member issues and complaints in a timely and effective manner, elevating issues when appropriate.
  • Perform various administrative and housekeeping duties within assigned areas as needed.
  • Alert the Operations staff of repairs and maintenance needs in the club, and conduct facility walk-throughs daily.
  • Comply with operational procedures in the club, and follow up with compliance checks through the monitoring of club systems and employee performance.
  • Sell training sessions and execute an effective prospecting strategy, conduct guest tours, and assume responsibility for completing sales of staff when needed through the Turn-Over process.
  • Administer company policies as they relate to the sales process.
Requirements:
  • Current CPR/AED certification.
  • Certification from an organization recognized by UFC Gym and/or Pro-Am fight background.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • 4-year degree in a related field recognized by UFC Gym (preferred).
  • Current DotFIT certification (preferred).
  • Minimum 1 year of related experience.
  • Experience in management/employee relations preferred.
Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. Physical effort required for daily duties include lifting heavy weights, squatting, bending, reaching, spotting, and prolonged standing and walking. Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 45+ lbs.
