Cybersecurity Software Sales Director Stamford, CT

Our client is a cutting-edge cybersecurity startup founded by veterans from elite intelligence forces. Their advanced threat protection solutions are utilized by leading organizations in the US and Europe.

We seek an accomplished sales leader to spearhead our expansion into the US market, focusing on major Security VARs/System Integrators and Large enterprises. This role involves managing relationships with these partners and working closely with our HQ teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have 'feet on the ground' but also be responsible for providing leadership, management, and growth of the sales team in the Northeast, driving revenue and growth in the enterprise and channel space. Key responsibilities include planning, management, and execution of sales plans and new initiatives.

Key Requirements:

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in enterprise security software sales
  2. Familiarity with Cloud security and networking technologies
  3. Understanding of customer requirements & processes for storage solutions
  4. Able to drive deals from prospecting and pipeline development to closing (entire sales cycle)
  5. Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and writing skills
  6. Self-starter, able to work independently (home office), extensive travel required
  7. Capable of solving critical issues in a timely manner
  8. Able to foster long-term relationships, develop champions, and drive the client purchasing process

Responsibilities:

  1. Overall direction and control of all activities in the region, including Customers, channel, and service provider partners
  2. Target and develop Fortune 500 enterprise accounts and Named security VARs/SI's in the region
  3. Recruit, motivate, and maintain an effective sales team
  4. Work closely with technology alliance partners
  5. Manage relationships at all levels within the customers and partners
  6. Conduct solution presentations to customers and prospects
  7. Forecast and report opportunities in a timely manner
  8. Collaborate with team members to enable successful execution of closed deals and ensure customer satisfaction

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
