We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at Southwest Missouri Bank. As a key member of our banking team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling cash transactions, and promoting our bank's products and services.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Provide prompt, courteous, and accurate service to both internal and external customers, ensuring a positive banking experience.
- Cash Handling: Balance teller drawer daily, comply with all teller standards and bank procedures, and maintain a high level of security.
- Product Knowledge: Acquire and maintain a working knowledge of online banking products and services, and assist customers with new accounts and answer questions.
- Training and Development: Participate in available training and utilize bank resources and products to strengthen job knowledge and cross-train to cover other areas.
- Cross-Selling: Recognize opportunities to cross-sell bank products and services to existing and prospective customers.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Cash handling and balancing, customer service, and/or prior teller/banking experience preferred.
- Skills: Excellent customer service skills, strong oral and written communication skills, detail-oriented, and basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Jack Henry).
This position requires the ability to stand for extended periods of time, sit, bend, squat, twist, and lift/carry coin bags weighing up to 50 lbs. A working knowledge of computers, printers, and general office equipment is also required.
