The MRI Technologist is responsible for operating Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanners in inpatient and/or outpatient settings, performing various imaging procedures to diagnose medical conditions. You will obtain consent, prepare patients, and explain the procedure to them.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI scanners to produce high-quality images for detecting pathology and abnormalities in patients.
  • Obtain consent and prepare patients for procedures.
  • Explain the procedure to patients and answer any questions they may have.

Requirements

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification with a specialization in MRI.
  • Vocational school graduate.

HCA Florida Kendall Hospital is a 417-bed acute care facility located in west Miami-Dade County. Our services include trauma, burn, surgical, women's and children's services, behavioral health, and diagnostic services. We have two full-service free-standing ER facilities and are certified as a Level I Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center by the Florida Department of Health and the American College of Surgeons.
