As an MRI Technologist, you will play a critical role in our diagnostic imaging team, working closely with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality imaging services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate effectively with patients and family members to assess their emotional and physical needs during examination.
  • Promote a safe environment for patients and their families, adhering to universal precautions and infection control policies.
  • Transport patients safely and accurately label images for proper patient identification and orientation.
  • Screen patients using contraindication questionnaires and document patient history, pregnancy status, and allergy status.
  • Provide education and documentation of ARRT, IEMA, MRI Registry, and CE points.
  • Complete daily Phantom and QI logs, utilizing PACS, HMS, and Teleradiology systems.
  • Follow universal safety precautions for MRI machine use and be aware of Zone meanings and descriptions.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved radiological technologist program or MRI program.
  • At least 1 year of experience in MRI and 2 years in Radiology.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) and licensed by the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart Association required.
