About the Role:

The Visalia Unified School District is seeking a talented Behavior Intervention Technician to join their team in the Early Childhood Special Education department. In this role, you will provide individualized behavior intervention and education to students with special needs, collaborating with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement behavioral plans. You will also monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed, while communicating effectively with parents and guardians to ensure student success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans for students with special needs
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement behavioral plans
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure student success

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field
  • Experience working with children with special needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
