Position Summary

The primary role of the Cleaning Operations Supervisor is to manage the shift and provide guidance to janitorial staff. This position is crucial for ensuring seamless operations while also performing the same tasks as the janitorial team. The supervisor will play a key role in maintaining customer satisfaction and achieving operational targets and deadlines. Additionally, the supervisor will ensure that all janitorial staff adhere to company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the shift, assisting the Manager in ensuring all tasks are completed effectively.
  • Take charge of the quality of work produced during the shift.
  • Ensure that assigned cleaning tasks are executed to the highest standards.
  • Support the Manager in enforcing work standards among janitorial staff in line with company practices.
  • Monitor, assess, and report performance metrics to the Manager throughout the shift.
  • Facilitate effective communication among all janitorial employees.
  • Adhere to guidelines for the proper maintenance of all cleaning equipment.
  • Utilize problem-solving and troubleshooting skills as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during the shift, addressing any related issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Facilitate training to meet the current and future demands of the shift.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards to ensure a tidy workplace.
  • Make informed decisions while adhering to the company's organizational structure.
  • Address customer complaints with professionalism to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by Management.

Qualifications

  • Exhibit a positive attitude and collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Ability to work independently without supervision.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; bilingual abilities are preferred.
  • Capability to follow directions and seek clarification when necessary.
  • Basic knowledge of computer applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) is desirable.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. – Participation in E-Verify is required.

Work Conditions

  • Maintain consistent and reliable attendance, including the ability to work overtime, holidays, evenings, or weekends as required.
  • Willingness to work outdoors at job sites as necessary.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions, including snow and extreme temperatures.
