Job Title: Night Supervisor

We are seeking a responsible Night Supervisor to join our team at National Janitorial Solutions. As a Night Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the shift and assisting in the direction of janitorial employees. Your primary goal will be to ensure the smooth running of operations and to perform the same duties as the janitorial employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Manager in ensuring the scope of work gets done
  • Take responsibility for the quality of work produced within the shift
  • Ensure that assigned janitorial duties are done properly
  • Assist the Manager in enforcing work standards for janitorial employees
  • Monitor, measure, and report to the Manager on performance during the shift
  • Ensure good communication with all janitorial employees
  • Follow guidelines for proper maintenance of all equipment
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety rules and regulations
  • Train current and future demands of the shift
  • Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe workplace
  • Make appropriate decisions while following the company's organizational structure
  • Respond to customer complaints and ensure proper handling to achieve excellent customer satisfaction
Requirements:
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well with other team members
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Good verbal and written communication skills; bilingual preferred
  • Ability to follow direction and ask questions for clarification, if needed
  • Some knowledge of computer applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) desired
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. - We Use E-Verify
Work Conditions:
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance at a level acceptable to the company
  • Ability to work overtime, holidays, evenings, or weekends as necessary
  • Capable of working outdoors on job sites as needed
  • Ability to work in extraordinary weather conditions (snow, refrigerated warehouse, and freezer)
