Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at Avante at Leesburg, Inc. in a skilled nursing facility setting. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our therapy department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Physical Therapists in the evaluation, treatment, and program planning for patients with various physical therapy needs.
  • Conduct individual and group treatment sessions, adapting techniques and media as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with the Physical Therapy team to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and departmental processes.
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Successful completion of the National Certification for P.T.A.
  • Current state licensure or license eligible.
  • 0-3 years of experience in long-term care or a related field.
