Physical Therapist Assistant Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at Avante at Leesburg, a skilled nursing facility with a positive community reputation and a history of successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the assessment, treatment, and program planning for patients under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
  • Provide Physical Therapy services to residents in accordance with state regulations and under the guidance of a Physical Therapist.
  • Adapt Physical Therapy techniques and media as needed to ensure effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans.
Requirements:
  • Associate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
