Job Summary:
Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to support a Speech-Language Pathologist in a PreK setting. As an SLPA with Soliant Health, you will work closely with our licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide exceptional support to students in a school setting.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluation and Assessment: Assist the SLP in evaluating and assessing students' speech and language abilities.
- Treatment Planning: Implement individualized treatment plans and therapeutic interventions designed by the SLP.
- Therapy Sessions: Conduct therapy sessions with students both individually and in small groups.
- Progress Monitoring: Monitor and record students' progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
- Team Meetings: Participate in team meetings, IEP conferences, and school-related events as required.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Licensure: State licensure as an SLPA.
- Experience: Previous experience working as an SLPA in a school setting is preferred but not required.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with the educational team, students, and parents.
- Passion: Passion for helping students achieve their communication and language goals.
