Job Summary:

Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to support a Speech-Language Pathologist in a PreK setting. As an SLPA with Soliant Health, you will work closely with our licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide exceptional support to students in a school setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluation and Assessment: Assist the SLP in evaluating and assessing students' speech and language abilities.
  • Treatment Planning: Implement individualized treatment plans and therapeutic interventions designed by the SLP.
  • Therapy Sessions: Conduct therapy sessions with students both individually and in small groups.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor and record students' progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
  • Team Meetings: Participate in team meetings, IEP conferences, and school-related events as required.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
  • Licensure: State licensure as an SLPA.
  • Experience: Previous experience working as an SLPA in a school setting is preferred but not required.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with the educational team, students, and parents.
  • Passion: Passion for helping students achieve their communication and language goals.
