Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Whey Packaging Specialist to join our team in Twin Falls, ID. As a Whey Packaging Specialist, you will be responsible for packaging powder or cheese, sealing bags, and stacking them on pallets.

About the Role

This is a challenging role that requires attention to detail and ability to work efficiently. You will ensure correct weight loaded in bags, wrap stacked powder in cellophane sheets, and place it in the warehouse with a pallet jack or forklift.

You will also pull samples of product for laboratory analysis (every 25 bags), perform tare weight checks, check bin levels to avoid bins overflowing, record number of bags filled, monitor cheese levels in towers, check and record metal detector sensitivity, and clean the packaging room and area.

This role requires strong communication skills, as you will need to interact with colleagues and management to ensure smooth operations. You will also be responsible for restocking bag rooms with supplies and identifying and disposing of defective items.

The ideal candidate will have experience in packaging and production environments, with a strong focus on safety and quality control.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $19.00 per hour (day shift) and $20.50 per hour (night shift), with opportunities for overtime. Our benefits package includes direct deposit and debit card payment options, health, vision, dental, life, and disability insurance, training provided, and weekly pay.
