Job Title: Industrial Operations Specialist

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Production Operator to join our team at J.D. Heiskell & Companies. This is a dynamic role that requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and monitor bulk receiving system to ensure efficient inventory management
  • Perform daily inspections of equipment, including fork trucks and front end loaders, to maintain optimal performance
  • Unload inbound trucks and rail cars, and inspect incoming ingredients for quality control
  • Assist with minor maintenance tasks, such as lubrication and adjustments, to prevent equipment downtime
  • Clean and maintain production areas, including the control room and mill, to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic understanding of computers and math comprehension
  • Mechanical aptitude and previous plant experience
  • The ability to climb ladders, lift up to 75 lbs, bend, kneel, stand for long periods, work in confined spaces, and work at heights
  • Good work habits, including excellent attendance and individual productivity
