Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Specialist to join our team at Tufts Medicine. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care services in accordance with physician orders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide basic care services to patients, including vital sign monitoring, medication administration, and wound care.
  • Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) in a safe and respectful manner.
  • Prepare patients for meals, assist with meals, and respond to call lights in a timely manner.
  • Assist with ambulation and/or transfers, and provide complete hygienic care to patients.
  • Apply principles of prevention to maintain skin integrity and skeletal muscular alignment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • One (1) year experience in healthcare or nursing services preferred.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or equivalent certification preferred.
