Job Title:

Clinical Infant Mental Health Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Infant Mental Health Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide assessment, treatment, and consultation services to maltreated children under the age of 6 years and their families involved with the child welfare system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical assessment and treatment services to young children and their families
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the needs of children and their families
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals to provide consultation and training services
  • Participate in research and advocacy efforts to improve the lives of young children and their families
Requirements:
  • PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology
  • Successful completion of an APA-accredited internship with a focus on infant mental health
  • Experience working with young children and their families in a clinical setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience participating as a member of an interdisciplinary team
  • Working knowledge of child development and infant mental health
  • Experience in supervision and teaching
  • Interest in advocacy and/or research
