Position: Brewhaus Operator (Operator 1)
Compensation: $18 - $19.00 per hour
Work Schedule: 1st Shift, 6:00 am - 6:00 pm
We are looking for a dedicated operator to master various facets of our production processes, including the handling of bulk sugar, melt processing, and packaging operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of tasks that ensure smooth production flow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Initiate equipment operations and monitor for any potential issues.
- Communicate equipment malfunctions to the supervisor and perform minor adjustments or repairs as needed.
- Carry out melt processing, bulk loading/unloading, and packaging in accordance with established procedures.
- Conduct quality control checks in line with standardized protocols.
- Complete all required documentation as per operational guidelines.
- Restock packaging materials as necessary.
- Participate in cross-training across various operational areas.
- Engage in customer and federal audits as required.
Qualifications:
- Experience in food manufacturing is highly preferred.
- A minimum of 1-3 years in a manufacturing or related field is required.
- Experience in troubleshooting equipment is strongly preferred.
- Forklift operation experience is advantageous.
- A High School Diploma or GED is required.
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- While performing job duties, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands for handling or feeling, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and communicate effectively.
- Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills are essential.
