About the Role

As a Senior Application Engineer at Axiom Path, you will be part of a high-performing team dedicated to delivering exceptional rental equipment solutions. This team is known for its commitment to technical excellence, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance of rental solutions for clients across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sales teams and customers to provide expert technical support for HVAC, process cooling, and power systems.
  • Develop tailored solutions and proposals for rental equipment, ensuring all requirements are met with precise plans, load calculations, and specifications.
  • Respond to customer inquiries through the customer service platform, offering timely and effective solutions.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including Engineering Bulletins, IOMs, and Application Guides, to support process improvements.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for complex engineering requests, mentoring junior team members, and leading Lean/Operational Excellence initiatives.
  • Support new product initiatives by collaborating with Product Management and Engineering, providing feedback on design, testing, and commercialization processes.
  • Conduct technical training sessions for internal teams, ensuring consistent and high-quality knowledge-sharing across departments.
  • Assist in critical projects by working on-site as needed, supporting equipment integration and market expansion efforts.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in the HVAC industry, with a focus on rental services or equipment. Prior experience with chilled water, heating equipment, and power solutions is highly valued.
  • Technical expertise in HVAC and power equipment, including Chillers, Cooling Towers, Boilers, AHUs, DX Units, and Power Generators.
  • Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Adobe, and Bluebeam Revu. Experience with CRM systems, project management tools, and HVAC equipment selection software.
  • FE or PE certification is preferred.
  • Strong negotiation and strategic thinking abilities, with a solution-driven approach. Excellent time management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% to support key projects and provide on-site assistance.
