Job Summary

FEHE Enterprises, Inc. is a leading provider of care services, dedicated to delivering exceptional support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nursing Care Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the services of Direct Care Staff and Certified Nursing Assistants
  • Provide nursing care, including ADLs, assessments, care, and vital signs
  • Perform physical activities that require climbing, lifting, walking, balancing, and handling materials
  • Document actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records
  • Maintain work operations by following policies and procedures
  • Protect organization's value by keeping patient and company information confidential
  • Attend mandatory in-services and complete required annual continuing education or in-services to maintain certification
  • Promote the highest degree of quality care and services to our clients in accordance with DBHDD and company policies
Requirements
  • Must be from an accredited nursing program
  • Knowledge of relevant nursing care
  • Understands legal implications of patient care
  • Preferred: Minimum of six (6) months experience working in assisted living, home health, independent living, hospital, or long-term care environment
  • Ability to make choices, decisions, and act in the resident's best interest
  • Ability to react and remain calm in difficult situations
  • Written and verbal skills for effective communication and level of understanding
