POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Facilities Operations Coordinator is essential for ensuring the seamless operation of Guttman's corporate headquarters. Responsibilities include general maintenance and facility services, upkeep of premises, and coordination of more intricate repairs. This role also involves managing all incoming and outgoing mail as required or scheduled.

The position entails assisting with the maintenance and repair of various company properties and unmanned fueling stations, effectively acting as a versatile resource for building maintenance.


DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Supervise and coordinate facility services.
2. Inspect, identify, and execute general repairs related to facility maintenance, including plumbing, minor electrical work, snow and ice removal from walkways, changing light bulbs, maintaining office equipment, waste disposal, drywall repairs, event setup, carpet cleaning, etc.
3. Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed in compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations.
4. Manage routine maintenance and inspections of various building systems, such as HVAC.
5. Coordinate complex repairs and maintain relationships with contractors and service providers.
6. Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages as required or scheduled.
7. Prepare, distribute, and collect office mail and packages as necessary.
8. Ensure timely execution of outgoing mail and packages, including proper postage and labeling.
9. Maintain appropriate inventory for maintenance and mailing tasks (light bulbs, plumbing supplies, sidewalk salt, etc.).
10. Perform light landscaping duties, including weeding, leaf collection, and hedge trimming.
11. Assist in managing company record storage.
12. Coordinate the opening and closing of the front access gate at the start and end of each day.
13. Provide assistance to employees as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Background in customer service.
- Analytical skills and teamwork capabilities to collaborate with temporary and other staff to complete projects efficiently.
- Flexibility and discretion when handling confidential mail and interactions with co-workers and customers.
- Availability for unplanned overtime in case of emergencies.
- Familiarity with USPS and UPS procedures and regulations is a plus.
- Basic maintenance and repair knowledge.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds unassisted.
- Valid driver's license.
