We are currently seeking a skilled Material Handling Equipment Technician to enhance our operations. This role is vital in maintaining the efficiency of our lift trucks and related equipment.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct repairs, maintenance, and overhauls on plant forklift trucks.
  • Maintain and repair material handling equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Inspect and service dock levelers and doors.
  • Keep detailed records of lift maintenance activities.
  • Manage the inventory of parts and notify appropriate personnel when supplies are low.
  • Fill LP tanks as needed.
  • Perform inspections and test drives to identify defects.
  • Execute repairs, including cleaning and painting as necessary.
  • Assist machinists and electricians when required.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications:
  • Strong mechanical knowledge of forklifts and related machinery.
  • Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
  • Familiarity with hydraulic systems and repair techniques.
  • Ability to pass the Forklift Mechanic Test.
