Job Summary

This role is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to Sysco's high standards of sanitation and safety. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a clean and safe working environment for all employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Remove all trash and debris from the warehouse and dock areas, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Clean up any spills of product or other foreign matter, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Operate power scrubber, sweeper walk behind scrubber, and other warehouse equipment to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Clean warehouse walls, floors, racking, doors, and other areas, ensuring a clean and organized environment.
  • Clean facility building, grounds, lighting, parking lots, and other areas, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Sanitize restrooms, offices, break rooms, and locker rooms, adhering to Sysco's high standards of sanitation.
  • Follow the daily schedule as assigned by the supervisor to ensure a continuous sanitation maintenance program.
  • Maintain the warehouse in a clean and safe working environment, adhering to Sysco's high standards of sanitation and safety.
  • Perform other duties as directed by Supervisor, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements

Education

  • High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) or equivalent, demonstrating a strong foundation in education.

Experience

  • Previous sanitation experience within a warehouse environment, highly preferred, demonstrating a strong understanding of sanitation practices.
