Job Overview

  • Safe and efficient operation of heavy equipment, including front-end loaders and other machinery.
  • Perform pre-trip inspections and grease fittings as needed prior to operation of equipment.
  • Provide guidance and serve as a spotter for trucks arriving and departing from the process operations.
  • Maintain clean process operations, ensuring that both work area and equipment remain free from clutter.
  • Willingness to fill in for operations and/or maintenance staff as needed.
  • Participate in pre-shift and post-shift safety and operational meetings.
  • Adhere to all company and governmental safety regulations.

About the Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience operating heavy equipment, including front-end loaders.
  • Experience operating other heavy equipment, such as haul trucks, water trucks, telehandlers, forklifts, skid steers, and excavators.
  • Mechanical aptitude/ability preferred.
  • Ability to speak, understand, and write in English.
  • Ability to walk over uneven surfaces and climb onto equipment.
  • Ability to bend and lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the workday.
  • Must be able to work outdoors in hot and cold temperatures.
  • Must be able to work in a busy, often distracting work environment.

Average annual salary: $65,000 - $80,000
