Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator - Delivery Specialist to join our team at Total Mechanical Systems, LLC. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery of goods to our customers throughout Connecticut.

Total Mechanical Systems, LLC is a 24/7 HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical company serving residential and commercial customers throughout Connecticut. The estimated annual salary for this role is around $60,000, based on experience. We offer a competitive salary and full-time benefits, including:

Your primary responsibilities as a Logistics Coordinator - Delivery Specialist will include:

• Organizing warehouse operations and receiving materials
• Completing deliveries by driving company trucks or vans to and from job sites
• Maintaining vehicles in good condition, performing regular maintenance and cleaning tasks
• Ensuring safe, timely, accurate, and efficient product deliveries
• Delivering and transferring merchandise to job sites or other locations as directed by supervisors
• Accurately checking all products as loaded and/or unloaded by drivers against related paperwork
• Reporting any delays to supervisors throughout the day
• Communicating with supervisors before and after each departure or arrival at locations, and after each delivery drop or pickup while on the road
• FOLLOWING ALL PROCEDURES ASSOCIATED WITH DELIVERIES
• Safely securing all products in vehicles to prevent shifting or damage during transport
• Performing general warehouse work as directed, including working in various departments within the warehouse relating to incoming or outgoing products
• Assisting with shipping, receiving, transfers, unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to packing slips
• Moving materials and items from receiving or transfer areas to shipping areas or stock locations as designated

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• A valid driver's license in good standing
• Physical ability to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb during shifts
• Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently
• Attention to detail and ability to monitor inventory quality
• Highly organized and able to store items efficiently
• Willingness to follow health and safety procedures and regulations as dictated by the organization and the state
• Pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
