Role Summary:

The Fry Cook will be instrumental in preparing and cooking a diverse range of food items, with a particular emphasis on fried dishes. Key responsibilities include operating kitchen equipment, ensuring cleanliness and safety standards, and collaborating with the culinary team to deliver outstanding food quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook food items following established recipes and quality standards.
  • Safely operate and maintain deep fryers and other kitchen equipment.
  • Ensure all food items are cooked and served at the appropriate temperatures.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to manage food inventory and reduce waste.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Assist in menu planning and the introduction of new culinary offerings.
  • Deliver exceptional service to guarantee a positive guest experience.
  • Engage in ongoing culinary training and development opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a Fry Cook or in a similar capacity within a high-volume kitchen is preferred.
  • Understanding of proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong time management skills and the capacity to multitask effectively.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A positive attitude and a commitment to culinary excellence.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; culinary training is advantageous.
