Responsibilities- Conduct initial patient histories and perform physical examinations to assess patient needs.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care, including ordering medications, laboratory work, and diagnostic tests as needed.
- Collaborate with attending physicians, residents, and other care providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient information and communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
- Participate in performance improvement, research, and educational activities to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Master's Degree in a Nurse Practitioner Program and National Board Certification in specialty area required.
- Current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in New York State, and current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State, required.
- Collaborative practice agreement with designated protocols filed with NYS Department of Education OR collaborative relationship attestation as per the Nurse Practitioner Modernization Act 2015.
- Current BLS certification, required.
