KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain a visible presence on the sales floor to foster customer relationships, support team development, and drive revenue growth.
- Act as a mentor and resource for store personnel regarding products, services, policies, and industry developments.
- Drive sales performance to meet and exceed established financial objectives.
- Effectively implement company promotions and product launches to enhance customer experience and achieve sales goals.
- Lead with an entrepreneurial spirit, treating the store as your own business while nurturing a positive and equitable work atmosphere.
- Oversee recruitment, performance assessments, employee relations, payroll, and engagement initiatives.
- Facilitate ongoing education through training sessions and skills development, ensuring all training aligns with brand standards.
- Provide insights to management regarding opportunities, industry trends, and potential improvements.
- Manage the planning and execution of visual merchandising, tailoring displays to fit store specifications and ensuring timely execution.
- Oversee budget management and implement strategies to minimize loss and product returns.
- Maintain comprehensive records of activities, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Required:
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Government-Issued Photo ID.
- 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
Preferred:
- Experience in retail and the cannabis sector is advantageous.
- Proven ability to attract top talent and inspire teams to surpass sales targets.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Flexibility in work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong attention to detail with effective multitasking and time management skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with a knack for influencing others.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and business insight, with a history of analyzing sales data to develop actionable plans.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to remain stationary for extended periods.
- Capability to assist with lifting products and materials.
- Frequent use of standard office equipment, including computers and phones.
- Occasional need to reach for products or materials in the store.
