Nurse Requirements:

  • Active nurse license in Minnesota (RN)
  • SNF, TCU, LTC, Acute Care experience, 1 year experience preferred
  • BLS CPR Certified (required)
  • Ability to pass a DHS background check
  • Pleasant, respectful, and courteous to residents, staff, and families
  • Ability to work every other weekend

Nurse Responsibilities:

  • Provide appropriate nursing care based on the care plan within nurse scope
  • Monitor, recognize and report concerns or changes in resident's condition
  • Act as a liaison between the resident, family, and healthcare providers
  • Comply with established policies, procedures, and state/federal regulations
  • Ability to Supervise nursing assistants and act as charge nurse
  • Complete accurate and complaint documentation for nursing care provided
  • Respond to resident's physical, emotional and spiritual needs, act as a professional nurse, model appropriate work ethic and behaviors and follow up with others to do the same
